That on the left was by far my best drawing of 2005. It HAS been a while, uh?
So I decided to make a new one as task 3 for
. My friend likes it and decides to use it as a RPG character, and it gets a whole nice background to it.
This girl, called Arabesque, is some sort of mage or priestess who can enter dreams and even take useful items from them.
2005: heavily inspired by CLAMP, I believe it was done when I discovered the power of folds and fabrics. Quite a turn, considering that all my works begun to focus a lot on those things... plus hair. Lots of hair.
2009: looks like the years passed for the girl too! She's older and... well, I hope the improvement is evident.
Painting is in progress now.

Yes, I can see your improvement here! Everything, hair, face, dress, shading is much much better now.
